  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This young pastor established a church in the most populated Muslim country in the world and a large majority of people that go to the church are young people.

While in the West you have more and more young people abandon the church, this guy does the opposite in a land that has worse Christian persecution than in the West.

Not surprising to me. Christianity in the West is little like the real thing. People are rejecting a fake "Christianism". Also, the western world's rebellious culture makes it hard for people to submit to authority. We are seeing what Lord Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24: 9-12,

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold."

That's the secret....and the culture.

In USA, the parents have virtually no authority over their children by law.

My brother has been a missionary in Indonesia for years. The reason Christianity is growing there is NOT because we’re doing something wrong in America. Indonesia is several years behind us in terms of education and values. They’re largely muslim, but many are purely cultural Muslims. They are already theists, but are more open to receiving aid and the gospel message from Christians.

in America, Christianity is losing numbers to Atheism and Agnosticism. It’s a completely different battle. I attribute the west’s youth exodus from church to modern education (something Indonesia doesn’t have)
