call-me-dan said:oph yeah, how are the waves there in the India Ocean?
kurabrhm said:Well I was born right next to the Arabian sea which merges with the Indian ocean further south of the subcontinent. My native home city is Cochin.
I never really checked out the waves while I was living in India because it didn't really interest me since I'm more of a land lover! But I have heard that the Indian ocean between East Africa and India can get pretty rough! Also further north the sea between Arabia and India can also be wild sometimes but I think its pretty tame most of the time. However the Indian ocean is not as amazing or as exciting as the ones next to Australia and America!!!
mystery4 said:hmmph... you've obviously never been to the west coast of Aussieland then... I'm guessing you're talking about the Pacific Ocean on the east coast. Also the Southern Ocean on the south coast and the Indian Ocean on the west coast. There are some great waves just south of Perth in Augusta and Margaret River, so I've heard. Also up north of Perth (the coast in between Leeman and Greenhead (also Indian Ocean), if anyone has heard of those places) is sposed to be one of the best places in the world for windsurfing.
and there isnt any WIND in q8
