I share an apartment with my mom. My mom told me she loves having me here, and doesn't truly want me to leave, but that a part of her is telling me I need to live on my own again, to get a greater sense of responsibility.

Yep, I'm 25 and I feel at a certain age its just time to go. Parents say they don't mind but then they nag and become double minded..an example is.. When my mom stressed about bills, I gave her half of my refund,..offered to give her some of the money I made from work.,,
My grandma said, just let (me/farside) help you, and my mom was like, so what am I gonna do? Let(me/far side) pay all the bills? No..

And I'm like make up your mind, you need help but don't want to accept my money..

I feel when it gets like that and just really naggy, its time to go.

I can't wait to get accepted into my OTA program, I'll be on my own for the first time in my life.., gotta save up

She's not pure gold, but she is nice. She feels sorry for me because of my past and what I have been through.

Right. I want to borrow his mom lol but honestly my mom would do the same,, but I want to try and do things on my own first and only fall back on my mom when I absolutely can't do it myself.

Thats her on her good days. The bad days get so bad, I run out the house with any belongings I can find and go sleep under a bridge.

Well if my parents didn't have me, I wouldn't be here. So the pros outweigh the cons I'd say. There are a ton of bad parents out there who suck at raising children, but plenty turn out alright. Sure it may take years of therapy and lots of psychtropic drugs but it usually works out in the end.

I think I'm in a rare crowd that will wait for marriage before moving out. But I wanna be ready! I'm learning to drive. (Kinda close to being able to do it on my own) I am learning to do things so I can mature in those ways and be ready. My siblings and I are all adults now and still with our parents. Just waiting on God's timing.
