  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hmm...if you mean outdoor jogging, what's wrong with indoor treadmill running? If you can't hit the gym the only bodyweight exercises I can think of are like those frog-style squats or something (I dunno what the name is) and standing calf raises on a small ledge in the doorway or something so it stretches out your calves when you go down or some other aerobic exercises

I still run in the winter, even with snow on the ground. sweat shirt with a wind breaker, a thin hat that covers the ears, and fingerless gloves work just fine. Once I get to about a mile the cold no longer matters, can about 8 to 10 miles. But I also make sure then that I don't run in weather under 30 F. If your legs keep getting cold with pant legs, tuck your pant leg into the socks. May look a little british but it works well in winter.

I can pretty much bike, jog or walk even in the winter. My bike gets pretty muddy at times but it looks cool  I like to run in the crunchy snow. I may look into snow shoeing this winter. I also have cross country skis. If it's really sloppy or cold out I use the treadmill or stationary bike.

Hey, snow shoveling is a great workout too.
