In the Spirit of Lent
As we all approach the Great Fast of Lent and celebrate it's beginning with Forgiveness Vespers, and we strive to fast not only physically, but spiritually from sin, the Advisors of CF have also decreed a "Lenten Moratorium" between OBOB and TAW.
In the spirit of forgiveness and peace between brethren, the Lenten Moratorium strictly forbids the cross forum debating that has been so rampant of late. Topics that address RC doctrines and beliefs will remain in OBOB, without EO interference and/or participation. Topics that relate to EO doctrines will remain in TAW, without RC interference and/or participation.
During the Lenten Moratorium we will continue to encourage fellowship, forgiveness, and peace so that we do spend more time in prayer for those in need, and become more aware of the needs and feelings of our brothers and sisters, and perhaps free up some time to do something about those needs.
This Lenten Moratorium ends April 19, 2009.
