Wait a minute - so you're saying that after you guys broke up, you weren't friends any more? And your ex started saying bad things about you to his friends behind your back??

Wow. I never knew that could happen. [/scarcasm]

My advice: stop trying to be friends with your ex. And learn that relationships don't always end with beautiful fields and sunshine and world peace.

What did you expect would happen when you guys broke up??

This wasn't about hoping for a beautiful ending. As a Christian, I felt bad after saying some things about him. We are not supposed to wrong others and that's why I felt bad about it. True, I didn't like the fact that he said mean things about me, but that's human nature. I can't control what he said, but I am accountable for my own actions. I actually wasn't even trying to be friends with him but rather was trying to take accountability for my wrong doings and apologize. Besides that, we were both Christians so I really felt the way things went were very un-Godly.
