In search of some good Christian music

So I figure I've covered most of the Satanic music scene so I might as well crack into the Christian one to see if there are any good Christian bands. I guess I should start with a sample of my tastes and favorite bands;

Tool, NIN, DOWN, Pearl Jam, Slayer, Fear Factory, Nirvana, Velvet Underground, Blind Guardian, Megadeth, Sacred Reich, Black Sabbath, KMFDM, Marilyn Manson, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Superjoint Ritual, Iced Earth, A Perfect Circle, Cannibal Corpse, Deep Purple, Pantera, Rush, King Crimson, Demons & Wizards, Morbid Angel etc...

And I have zero tolerce for the mediocre garbage they call "nu-metal" so please don't bother recomending me Creed or POD 800 times.

I just wanted to hear some harder edged Christian bands, and on an off note(sic) does anyone know if the band Kings X are Christian?

I'm pretty sure Kings X is Christian.

Try litening to Tourniquet, Third Day's Conspiracy No. 5 CD, Strange Occurence, Dakona, Pillar... I'm sure there are others but that's all I can think of right now.

You could also try, Switchfoot, ( which is my favorite ) or DC Talk... I can't think of any more, its too early. lol
