I remember I was sitting on my couch. We lived in Colorado. My Dad had the TV on, and my dog was sitting next to me. He was still a tiny puppy. I saw the Twin Towers fall, and it freaked me out. I got shocked and then I hugged my dog. I was just sitting there staring at the TV. It shocked me.
I just remember that part. I don't remember anything else really. I was only 3 years old!!! But, I still remember seeing that.
I was afraid to go by huge buildings downtown after that. Because we had to go downtown sometimes and I would cry sometimes because I was scared.
I'm not scared anymore though. I'm older now and I understand more.
I feel bad about how many people they had to bury. And I feel bad for the whole city because they had people that they loved in the buildings.
I thought it was sad because people had to tell someone their husband or dads or moms were passed away. I feel really bad for the children that lost their moms or dads.
But all the angels came down and took the people to heaven and they are with Jesus so that's good.
