Again, I have not discounted anything. I have stated factual information concerning scripture. There is a huge difference between facts and criticism.

1) Thank you for the clarification.
2) Correct, I never heard of embedded age until coming here several years ago.
3) The processes that age things is history. Ex: Ice cores, seasons within each annual layer can be seen/identified due to the contaminants contained within and specific ion ratios. Additionally catastrophic events such as volcanic eruptions, increased or decreased solar intensity and drought can also be seen. All of that is chronological history. Varves and speleothems provide much the same information as well as ocean sediment cores and a plethora of other geological and geochemical information.

I'm a current staff member. And this isn't an attack. You started with "that's not my God". I brought up the how the Israelites would have understood Gen 1, and you basically said that you don't believe any of scripture.
