this is what goes on in my head all day. I don't know if there is a God or what if its allah and I go to hell for worshippng Jesus but people have been to heaven so there has to be i am going to stick with the good God Jesus and repeat.I don't even know how to KNOW it is Ocd doubt. do u guys think that some people are just doubting people and that God forgives them.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think that some people have faith easier than others, but the important part is that you have faith in the first place.

I wouldn't think God would punish for unwanted doubt of any kind but the probelm is I can't know for sure. I cant know anything for sure. heaven, God, etc. i have more faith in ghosts well really it is not faith it is evidence. i keep going on in my head should i worship no God to escape hell for making one angry or stick with Jesus to escape hell. I always choose Jesus but I still fear Allah might send me to hell. I only go to Jesus because he seems the safest bet.

There's no way to know that the sun won't explode tomorrow either. Technically, you can find uncertainty in just about everything, and OCD is really good at finding all sorts of things to be uncertain about.
Faith is a choice, not a feeling. Also, actions speak louder than feelings. If you're afraid that you don't believe something, look at how you act.
