what about "time of the gentiles"??

Ro 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Well obviously the nation Israel didn't lose Its eyesight. The children of Jacob (Israel), however, did. They dropped the ball and the Gospel was given to the Gentiles to spread.

We're dropping the ball too, honestly, but it's not too late.

I'm a Gentile and I don't have to go to the nation of Israel. I was grafted in as Abraham's seed.

I am a gentile also, just in case anyone thought otherwise... and I didn't go to the nation of Israel either. I am also one of the grafted and now part of the commonwealth of Israel.

Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

I know it is taught that Israel as a nation, and the Jews as a people are immaterial to salvation. Which I have no problem with. Everyone's salvation is found in the personal relationship with Him [Yeshua]who can save... which you and I can both agree upon.

God still chose a nation. This nation does have a role in the end times and I think that is where you and I differ if I am understanding you correctly. You are saying "NO, they don't". "They are no longer God's people" What would happen if they as a nation accept Yeshua as their Messiah... what then??

I think if it is the literal nation of Israel that plays a part, then we would have to resurrect literal Babylon.

It is refreshing that you know Israel is referring to Jacob and his children though, you'd be surprised how many people DON'T know that.

I fear for the literal nation of Israel because there's a false prophet coming that will probably resemble the Messiah they thought they were going to get originally. It's a recipe for disaster, IMHO.

I'd love to see the entire nation accept Him (Christ) as the Messiah, and there were some Jews that obviously did (Mary, the disciples, etc). What then? We'd have a lot more Christians in the world. :)

In order for the worship of the false (great imitator) at the temple... all else must come into place.

But then I didn't come in here to debate the value of the Jew in God's eyes or the nation of Israel in the last days. I was more interested in the connection of the feasts and the eclipses. But I now understand that it just doesn't tie in with your theology so I will bow out and thank you all for your time and consideration.
