where does one go to get help with housing when you do not qualify for any programs out there. i assumed that life would get easier when i quit drinking and turned my life over to God. i got scamed by a devil hiding behind gods love.she got my wife and myself in this house and she did not pay her house payments for 8 months so the bank foreclosed and now on 10-24-08 this place goes up for sherrifs sale.i will lose everything because i dont have the money to get in any thing else as well as bad credit.my wife is 64 and i am 49 it is hard for us to be on the street.i put an ad up looking for a motor home that needs work that nobody wanted but got no response. they say God never gives more then you can handle but this is a bit more then i expected.it has been hard to even find a job.i did side jobs to pay my way here i tried everywhere.

Rusty, as you can Imagine, your post will stir up several emotions in it's readers. To most it will call a desire to do something. Unfortunately your format (the internet) is a notoriously bad place to find people like the one in your story..

If you truly seek help look for it locally. Goto you home congregation and ask them for assistance. Even if they can't put you up somewhere they should be able to help you look for something. There are a host of listings that can be found in the "blue Pages" of you phone book.. I'm sure none of it is pleasant, and what ever program you do find will take time and patients to wade thru, but help is out there.. It just may not look like what you expect to find.

pose the need to your congragation for one may have the means or knowledge to help me over come this crisis.for i do not want to sink to the devils work to rise above this curse man calls poverty.i gave it all to god 13 years ago when i asked him to help me quit drinking and i live with in the spirit all this time. if i cant get help from my fellow christians then what is left to explore......i thank god every morning and night and i do not ask for things just for me but for us all to have the same blessings.i have done things as a young man that i still am ashamed of ... bad things ..that is why i am paying carma now but i am proud of who i am now and i worked hard to get here.have them email me for my number for i will tell any one that wants to her my trials. help me regain life again.

Ervin I have read your posts.. God is there with you.. and sees your concerns.. I will pray for you.. He alone can help you.. It is not that the troubles have come that show that God has abandoned you.. but that this now is where HE alone can help you..

Dear Father God YOU know this person and all the circumstances of their life.. Father they need your help so I ask that YOU help them and provide for them for every need.. and that through YOUR intervention that they are given hope, strength and peace.. and an overwhelming sense of awe that there is nothing impossible for GOD!! amen
