  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I second this, I really loved granitesmith's customer service and the diapers and covers we bought from her were brand new. I don't mind buying used covers as I will wash them once I get them and no one is really going to see them. I also warn against the Gerber covers (not the plastic pant kind, but those are bad too) it seems like all the moisture wicked onto DD's clothes with these. Also www.kellyscloset.com has a great selection of every diaper type and brand, she also diaper accessories like snappis, waterproof bags for travel, etc.
With Levi sleeping through the night, we are digging the the vinyl pants. Though it was a pain to find them! Arg! granitesmith set up a registry for us too.

Well..first off Em...I am glad to hear that little levi may be coming out of the woods! Don't worry about the meds thing...I have forgotten to give Lilly hers to sometimes...esp early in the morning..then I realize it by next feedings...she takes two in the morning..then one of them at every feeding...when your half asleep and trying to get everything ready for a feeding and trying to answer and help hubby in the mornings to...things slip your mind.
I came back tonight to get the link...my computer has been crashed for the better part of last week and this week. Praise the Lord we have a wonderful friend at hubby's work that was kind enough to work it not once but, twice for us. So all my fave links got wiped out.
Are the snappi things you are talking about...they are covers correct...I am fixing to go to the site...so I will ask this question anyways...probably find the answer when I get there..but, just in case....do you buy them from her to or locally? I never really thought of just using washrags in a storage bin...that is a clever idea. I have a ton of dish rags and bath rags for her that she will never use all of...I think that would be perfect for wipes...we do spend a small fortune on them also...and u have to use so many. What other things could you add to the water to make the rags smell great?
Thanks all!

I just recieved my Kushies AIO Ultra diapers and I love using them. I haven't packed disposables for trips since last week and my DH is more inclined to use them. The only complaint is they have to be dried on low heat and they seem to take forever. I would love to get more for Christmas.
