Imperfections

[Seeking the Truth]

I put a smile on my face,

I cannot find my place,

Deep in my heart lays a wound.

A search for love and acceptance.

I feel so scared,

I feel so lost.

Almost like I have been tossed.

Tossed into the crowd,

The sounds are too loud,

I start to act so proud.

When in the dark,

I feel spirit led,

I am laying in bed,

Tears start to pour.

My spirit is so poor

But Jesus is trying to make me soar.

I am afraid to be rejected,

Life is so hectic,

I don’t trust,

I struggle with lust.

I feel so lonely,

People think Im phony,

I wish I could die,

And be in angel

In the sky.

I’m just some guy,

Who doesn’t try to live a lie.
