Gore did win, more Americans voted for him. Political maneuvering and a court decision gave Bush the presidency (look up how Hitler got power with out popular support).
However, the same can be said that he hasn't done anything wrong and others perceive it so because they personally don't like him.Jesus was the only man/flesh on earth without sin who came and died for the many sins of every man. Even the ones who walked with Him deceived Jesus.
Is it possible that perhaps President Bush could lie? Is it also dangerous to trust any human ( especially one with so much power) and believe they could never tell a lie or do things for self gain. Doesn't the bible warn us of putting so much trust in the flesh?
We as Christians are to question and never put anyone on a pedestal except for Christ, as we have seen in the past so much evidence of crumbling empires from not trusting in God, but a mans word.
We have seen over and over what power and money can do to the flesh even when one claims to be a strong Christian.
Why is it so hard to see that this man could possibly be doing things that are wrong, and want to investigate farther into these claims?
Because someone says they are a Christian does not mean we are to close our eyes, ears and sing LA LA LA.
Christians are the hardest hit by satan, and the most damage can be cause by Christians when they fall. So satan is working overtime to win someone over.

Why is it so hard for Christians to grasp that God wants us over there.
Gore did not win the election. Bush won the election fairly as he had the most electoral votes which is what matters.

Bush won because of a court ruling, not because the majority of American people voted for him.
Just a bit of info...this person is not an American in any sense of the word. You better stop with that garbage.
You better stop with that garbage.
Popular vote does not always constitute a victory.
Bush won b/c he had more electoral votes and gore couldn't win his own state. The court ruling was accurate and should have never happened in the first place.
I dont agree with the Iraq war, but I would never suggest that the massive human damage on both sides of the war is in some way Gods will, that God wanted those men, women and children to die as KarrieTex did, thats is just disgusting from both a Christian and an American.
Hitler felt the same way.
There is a lot more to it than that.
However, the same can be said that he hasn't done anything wrong and others perceive it so because they personally don't like him.
The point shouldn't be well he did this or that but what is God doing.
We as Christians believe God has a plan for every person and in every event. Why is it so hard for Christians to grasp that God wants us over there. There is something unfolding in His plan for Bush, us and the US.
Who is putting Bush on a pedestal? Just b/c some of us here do not feel he lied to us and we support the war in Iraq does not mean we are deceived. Conversely I could an argument that satan is using CNN, Rosie Odonnel, etc.etc. to deceive those who wnat to trash and condemn Bush for every breath he stakes.
again do you think we care?
and? What a flagrant showcase of blatant arrogance, extreme ignorance of world issues, vile self-rightousness and "we are the best" attitude. Sorry. I have spoken.
I didn't say I knew what God wants.I actually liked him especially during the time he walked into ground zero. Many felt that way, but could see very early on the twists and turns of turning 911 into a reason to start a war with Iraq.
I would still be behind him if he actually went after the people who where behind Sept. 11.. Many soldiers (like Pat Tillman, whom my family knows) were killed in Iraq after signing up to go after the sick people behind bin laden.
Not picking on you, would you mind explaining a little more on how you know that God wants us over in this horrible war.
Thank you
and?
OH and apathy does not equate to ignorance.
Apathy toward injustice is NEVER a Christian's business! I can't believe that some people can actually have such a blatant "who cares" attitude. You guys should seriously learn some more world history and world geography in your schools in order not to produce that kind of blatant arrogance toward the rest of the world. I have at least learned your language since the 3rd grade in elementary school to be able to study and communicate fluently in the lingua france and hence widen my horizons as I gain more years.
