My son just turned 2 on May 1st (yay!) and his up and coming well baby check up tomorrow afternoon has me thinking about his vaccines and the ones that we've missed. He's behind due to my lack of faith in his pediatrician. He hasn't been on schedule in quite some time, actually. I stopped letting the doctor give them because I needed to do research to ensure I was doing the right thing for my son, I just don't trust that darn doctor and I was so confused. Sometimes I still am. I think the recommended schedule is too much for my sons little body to handle...for any childs body to handle...I think it's like pumping them up with chemicals. I do believe in vaccinating, but I think they need to be more spread out. A lot more spread out.
I'm curious about other moms and what they've done for their children when it comes to their vaccines. Do you follow the recommended schedule or do you follow a different schedule or do you not do any vaccines? Why or why not?
This is not a debate . I'm sure there have been other conversations like this, but I haven't noticed any while I've been a member of the parents section. I'm just curious about what other moms think about vaccines and what immunization schedule they follow.
Thank you! Just post what you do when it comes to immunizations. Again, no debating!
