I'm very scared, very lonely, please help.

Additionally you can pray for that peace yourself, that the Holy Spirit will come along side and calm you. I just lost my wife after 47 years married back in Dec to a sudden heart attack and I can't count the times I've prayed that prayer and it brought calm very quickly. But you have to trust that He will be faithful to do it.

@bèlla does hold some good advice for you to start on a path to recovery from your problems and a better hope for the future, I think, Miss God4Life. In any event, I am sure that most of our pm boxes will be open for you if you wish to talk things out, even if just to listen and let you cry on our shoulder if you need to. Will be praying that your daily life gets better than this and that God will be with you all the while, as I know it must be a very tough and fearful time for you right now.

Hello @God4Life77, have you called your pastor and talked to him about all that you are going through right now? If not, I'd recommend doing so as soon as you can (my pastor is the first person I call when I have a problem that seems too big to handle).

Our pastors (the Lord's undershepherds) are tasked by Him with keeping a close watch over our souls .. e.g. Hebrews 13:17, and as such, they are great at giving us guidance, godly counsel/comfort. And once you've talked to him, he'll also have a better/more specific idea about how to pray for you too.

Some encouragement on also suffering from depression: It's hard to experience God's love for me when I feel so helpless, powerless, or alone. God hasn't taken away my depression. Have lived with it all of my life. It is apart of who I am from an abused start in life. For God to completely remove it would be to totally change who I am. God is loving first! He loves us where we are and for who we are.

It's scary when the things we depend upon are yanked out from under us. That's when we cry out to God and he hears us! And He responds. Don't be discouraged if the miraculous answers take a while to show up. God does hear the cry of the poor! God will answer.

For the last decade I became very depressed and I didn't build any relationships, I don't have any friends. I pushed everyone away in my life including my children and family. I didn't work because of depression, and I don't have any social security savings at all for retirement, nor any money. I am scared, I don't know where I will live and too depressed to get a job.

Praying for God to bring people into your life who will help you grow and that he would restore the relationships in your life. Praying for you in this lonely season. Sometimes the hard seasons have been the ones where I have learned the most about God's character or kindness through others. Some other tough seasons have been difficult with seemingly not much to show for it, but God will never forsake you and I pray for you tonight.

Praying for you. Starting over is very scary. It can be done. You can make a life for yourself. I know that God will provide, but we are to obey. I tithe and you would be surprised just how much he gives when you tithe and give above the 10 %. GOD will take care of you. It may not always be money, but he will provide you with what you need when you need it. He will bless you with people in your life or food or housing and it could be completely out of left field and unexpected, and you will know GOD blessed your life. He is amazing! He is my rock and fortress!
