Oh? There are all kinds of people out there, many of which would be a good match for you. You might want to check out the church singles groups in your area where you should be well received as a sister in Christ. Go with the mentality of wanting to make friends and see what happens.

Personally, I find working with kids to be an excellent diversion from feeling that way. Kids are never boring, I'll tell you that. Maybe you could try joining a tutoring club or being a Big Sister through United Way's program. Maybe you could volunteer or do work for your church, like deliver food to the shut-ins or visitation. I think what you need most is to get out and try something new instead of the same ol same ol. Mission trips work cool like that too. Point a dart at the map, find a trip that's going there, pray about it, and off you go! Maybe your soul mate is waiting for you over there

Maybe you're not so "ugly" as you think....And remember, on a scale from 1 to 10, one can usually raise his or her score 2 or 3 points with a smile.
I know of a couple that aren't exactly Mr. and Miss Americas...but they are a cute couple and make each other happy, and when they are together they are both attractive, both to each other and to others around them.

Thats kinda wot i tell myself-every guy ive been asked out by or been romantically engaged with(ive never had a serious relationship)has been totally inappropriate. Last time it was a 35 year old divorcee and im only 20!gorgeous guy but NO WAY. One of my friends just told me she's hookd up wit someone ova the holidays and sad to say my first reaction was jealousy,i knew it was so wrong and i crucified the feeling-thanks to the power of God. And i am now happy for her.

I am trying though. I'm trying to get involved at church and at work. I just feel so rejected. I work and serve with people. It's just like they don't want anything to do with me afterwards. Life is weird sometimes. And it hurts.

Mission trips can help! My nephew and his wife got to know each other on a mission trip through their church. His mother had kept telling the girl she should get to know her son but it didn't happen. Then they went on a mission trip and that's where I guess you could say their romance started. They are now married and have two little ones.
About the 24 and never been kissed or on a date remark... I've got that one beat by a light year. I'm in my 40's. A relationship has just never come my way. I never really gave it a lot of thought. It just didn't happen.
I know this sounds cliche, but if it is for someone to have a relationship, mate, and family, God will send the right person.
