Praying for you GTA.

Remember that while the Lord doesn't condone sin, he does give peace to sinners who acknowledge their sin.

The Devil, however, comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He will always make you feel guilt for your sin, even after repentance. And that guilt will keep the sin on your mind, which allows it to creep back into your heart. Don't let the enemy guilt you. Jesus has already defeated him, and He is Victorious! He will not leave or forsake you.

I pray that you will have peace about your sins. Not a peace that says they are okay. But a peace that says they are forgiven and cannot hold you down anymore than you allow them to.

I believe that it is St. Isaac the Syrian that I have heard Fr. Thomas Hopko quote in his lectures. It is something to the affect that to have a man see himself as he really is is a bigger miracle than raising the dead. Most of us don't want to see ourselves as we really are. I try to remember the words of my parish's patron saint that appears in my signature at the bottom of my post, St. Nikolai Velimirovich. St. Nikolai was such a holy and humble man.

He's a great Saint, and I really like the quote from him you have in your signature. :)
