  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

None of us are good enough; no one can please everyone. People are supposed to find their hapiness in God rather than in another human; realizing you're not tough is an advantage. Most people don't realize that none of us are tough.I am sorry you think that it is your job to make everybody happy, because that is more than anyone should expect of a fellow human. Don't give up because you are unable to do for others what only God Himself can do. Like--that ain't your job!

i wrote that poem at one of my lowest times of my life...this yr actually. the poem was actually gonna be aimed at my dad coz hes a perfectionist and sometimes i just feel like i can never please him no matter how well i do or try. but well i guess some is also aimed at my friends and my mum as well. so yeh...its like im saying sorry to everyone...
