I've always been amused at how frightened my daughter's boyfriends were when they met me. I felt so sorry for them that I immediately tried to put them at ease..LOL

Thanks Guys, Its going alright, I'm still nervous but the kids are playing playstation and we are waiting for the pizza to be delivered, which is better than how I envisioned it (me screaming GET OUT and throwing him out the window) LOL

wait till they are 17! I have had to shoo more than 1 boy away, I have also had to chase some down the street!

It is hard but you must have patience with kids today, I know it is hard, the generation gap and all.

My High School Girl friend's father was a recruiter for the US Military. I assume he was anyway. He convinced me to join, and that was in the middle of the Viet Nam Farce!

Yeah she is my step-daughter, Jessica, I also have Jenna, my 13 year old step-daughter, and Matthew my 2.5 year old son, even though they are my step-daughters I still treat them like my own and their "real" dad is......well nevermind he's not worth it, so I'm their dad as for as we are concerned

I know though I look probably 18 even though I'm 30

Yeah he is a great kid, I gave him a hard time at first but Jessica had warned him, we are taking him out to dinner on Friday night cause I just learned that his 16th birthday is on Wednesday and he is leaving on Monday to Haiti for a 2 week missionary trip.

They met at church so I'm thankful for that.
