  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey

I'm not sure if this is really a testimony but it's about how I became a Christian.
I had been abused 4 14 years and didn't have faith in God. I alwasy prayed that he wud save me but he didn't. Subsequently I was recieved into care at the age of 14. Over the past 6 months I had been thinkin about God and y I had 2 get abused.
Then one Saturday about 2 months ago, I was shopping in town. In the market squeare there was a band playing worship songs and people were handing out leaflets and balloons. I took one and stood listening 2 the band for about 2 hours.
Then a coloured lady from the church started talking 2 me. After she went off to carry on giving balloons out, I saw my headmaster. It turns out that it is the church that he goes to. He introduced me to Mel who is the youth worker. She started talking 2 me and introduced me 2 a couple of young people. I met up with her later that week. We talked and I started going to church the following sunday. I also started going to youth club. My faith has grown. I became a Christian about 3 weeks ago. I felt this is what God wanted, me to become a christian and make a difference.

i don't know what to say but it's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always tell new born christians that their life is just beginning! There is going to be a whole lot of fun and exciting times ahead. You may not know the answer to everything but trusting God is never a wrong choice. Will thank God for you tonight..:)
