I'm getting remarried after a divorce on the 17th. I have two daughters ages 8 and 4, they are thrilled about the marriage and will be a big part of the wedding. I was just banned on another "christian" forum because of my "sin" so I was excited to find this forum today, and am hopefull that it will be more inclusive. You found the right forum. Many of us have been divorced and remarried and have experienced the powerful love and mercy of God. Ignore those who are condemning, legalistic or judgmental. You'll find some of those people on the CF but they will not be welcomed in this particular section. Instead, you'll find a new home here with strong, loving Christians. I am married (I almost typed re- there faithwalker ) to a really wonderful man who is the father to my 2 youngest daughters and a wonderful stepfather to my oldest daughter.

hi i check this section out even though i am not sure if it applys to me. i was in a 4 yr relationship (unmarried) which i had a child in. This was before i "found christ" so therefore apparently all my past is irrelevant- but i don't see it this way- and i think i am just the same as anyone who has been married before,etc.
my partner is divorced though!

it's a horrible thing to be judged isn't it!

I have never been divorced, although only by the grace of God (the papers were filled out, just not filed) but I was never comfortable with the view that God hates all divorce, so I had to study it. Once I did an indepth study of the Bible, I can clearly see divorce is not a sin, so I'm sorry that you were banned from the other forum.
