His personal views on religion don't make him a bad musician. I like a lot of his music, and while I think he's wrong in his statement, I still enjoy him as a musician and will continue to do so.

If we judge every person by comments they make and don't agree with, then we will have no friends and nothing to watch nor listen to. Think of the last time you made it known to someone that you hate God because you were going through a rough time as well.

I have never hated God, even in the depths of despair and I would not be friends with someone who blasphemed. I would feel ashamed before God to not avoid someone like E.J. who blasphemed against Jesus.

Please let me say this: The whole purpose of a human being, and even more so a Christian, is to give glory to the Most Hight God.

I believe that some have relegated their sanctification to the pleasures of entertainment.

Let them dance towards the day when the glory of Christ will be revealed and when all the Earth will tremble at His might.

What he said doesn't bother me one bit. I could care less about his views. I like some of his music and will continue listening to it. I'm not sure why people are so sensitive and politically correct. Everyone has freedom of speech. I don't care for Ted Nugents "politics" but I still listen to his music.

There is a difference between judging someone and coming to a conclusion based on what the person themselves admitted to. If you said you are a liar and I call you a liar I am not judging you because you admitted to it. To say that we cannot "judge" him by his "opinion" is really not sensible. If you believe that Jesus cannot save humanity then I have the right, on the authority of the bible to tell you that you are wrong. In the same way Mr. John has admitted to using witch language in most of his songs and is therefore involved in some form or level or spiritism. Are you saying that based on the authority of God's word it is not correct to say his belief or opinion is wrong?

His music was never that good anyway. He ran out of talent in 1982 with Empty Garden, a fawning song about Lennon.

Gay artists also have a history of deathbed conversions, from Oscar Wilde to Liberace.

To be honest i can't help thinking that he has mental health problems, if a non-celebrity behaved in the way he does, he'd probably be ordered to a shrink.

The Beatles have long been thought to have been satanists ahve they not? Any google search of the words satan and Beatles makes that clear.

His being gay or bisexual has no bearing on how his songs impact me.
His religous views also have no bearing on how his songs impact me.
I refuse to censor him from my life.
Nor would I ever even conceive of censoring him or any other artist from my life

He didn't say anything nasty!
I mean, there's a metal band called "rotting christ", and this is shocking I think.
Elton John only said he thought Jesus was gay, and this can be argumented. He also pointed out Jesus was about love and compassion. I can't see anything bad with his statement.
