I might come back, and it may be soon, but for now, I'm feeling like this just isn't for me. you guys take care, and for goodness sakes treat each other with love! I didn't always see love in the posts i read, there was a lot of backstabbing.

I guess the longer you stay here, the more you want to depart–seeing as how you've been here longer than I have and I really enjoy it here. Of course it needs more fellowship and conversations than ignorance, debating, hate, and the rare, recluse troll. It'd be nice to see less ignorance, more enlightenment (even among denominations!), but alas. We are people, and we can't always get along, even if we should. See ya later.

I think a lot of the reason a lot of people feel these forums "aren't for them" is because of the rampant corruption and false teaching spread across these forums.

I mean, for God's sake, literally, for GOD's sake, we have a subforum for Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons, two CULTS that are not associated with Christianity whatsoever. It seems that this place is a melting pot of the righteous and the wicked, not a refuge for the believer. It's quite disgusting.

Regardless, shouldn't we, as God's [biblical] children, shouldn't we spread the truth of God instead of "run away" from the lies, even though running from falsehoods aren't necessarily a bad thing... Shouldn't we stand up for the truth now, and let those with eyes see, and let those with ears hear the truth? Instead of waiting till later, or even on Judgement Day, when all truth will be revealed?

This forum seems to be a place where people come to rattle the cages of the Baptists and liberal Baptists tell us "fundies" that we don't read the Bible. If anyone is looking for a refuge from the world, this place isn't it.

This forum is not about rattle and cages . Its about your witness to untold amounts of people, its about one word that can change someones destiny and bring them to God
Or help a fellow Christian restore his faith instead of walking away. Who ever promised a refuge from the world ? If your looking for that try camping or fishing.

I find it touching that church groups spend as much time sheering their sheep and trying to run members off as they can. Then go out on bus visits as a commandment knocking on doors to bring people in . Then they preach in wonder as to why more people don't attend church. Must be all the evil in the world or next to you on Sunday.

..what? That doesn't even make sense. Instead of attempting (attempting, key word, you're not that witty) to make personal attacks towards true followers of Christ, you should emulate Him yourself.

No one said anything about not witnessing to certain people. Stop putting words in others mouths.

There isn't a "Murders!" subsection on this forum, or a "Rapist!" section, are there? Do you not witness to them? There shouldn't be forums for religions that are not Christians on a Christian forum.

Well tin man my spell checker has not been working on this pad , I am glad you pointed it out . None of my comments were meant to be personal, I was trying to convey that the people who need salvation are the ones we should reach out to. How can we if their excluded from our contact? I would bet their are even reformed prostitutes and tax collectors in this forum. I become disgusted with holy huddles that turn those away who need Christ the most and their so legal they turn away from Gods commission . There is no such thing as a good Christian, we all fall short of his glory it is by his grace we have life or else he would have killed us all . So maybe today you might extend some grace to your fellow Christians and sinners and try praying before posting.

Thank you for good advice. I don't know why I visited this thread to begin with, I have spent 45 years with the Babtist and now am non denomation so I shouldn't intrude or create conflict God bless.

I get the impression some start these threads for the attention. But the, I'm a bit cynical.
