I'm leaving the CC for good it's quite clear that any sign of desent is going to be meet with harsh personal attacks so I'm leaving now. You have also shown me some of you are paraniod need to learn to give fellow believers the benfit of the doubt rather than asuming that they are out to get you.
Also just so you know my whole conern over using the word traditional and tradition is over the course of my time here of have recieved numerous hate filled pms and e-mails from christian members because I'm a gamer and my interest in anime they also loved to use the words tradition and traditional. I figure it's only matter of time before it started up again and they would use your justify going after me publicly.
I'm just tried harassed by extremist on this board because of a acouple of my hobbies and felt the wording in the wiki was giving them an inivation to do so.

I'm a gamer, not a big anime fan, but thats more an issue of taste I guess. I play RPG's that *gasp* use dice other than six sided!! surely a sign of the devil.

I think everyone around here is edgy because of their experiences elsewhere in CF and its making people more touchy here.

Some of you are afraid that the word traditional will be used to exclude you, or open you up to attack. Others, including myself, are so frustrated with the over-whelming liberal non-sense that we've had to put up with else where that we're very touchy about any perceived liberalism here.

We should all probably just take a step back and take a few deep breaths.

I'd just like to go on record here and say that I'm a PC-gamer myself, as is my husband (although less-so now than at times in the past as it's kind of expensive! LOL). And my daughters are all very big fans of anime and manga (they are budding artists).

As a matter-of-fact my eldest daughter is creating a Christian-themed manga, and has been working on it for the last few years already. So, although some anime/manga is what I would consider inappropriate obviously not all of it is...

I'm sorry to hear you've been harassed by people through the PM system. It's not right to attack others based upon presumptions in regards to their hobbies. You may wish to report those people that harassed you -- I know you can report PMs just like one would report posts, etc...

Regardless of your decision to stay within the CC section or not (and I would like you to stay), I hope to see you around the rest of CF! I've enjoyed your posts.

I may have been a bit hasty in annoucing my departure but there are some real issues to address because frankly what was done to me yesterday was just plain wrong. You shouldn't be trying to turn an opinion on the wording in the wiki into allegations have wanting a religous movement out of the CC.

Seriously, we need to leave the slings and arrows of the rest of CF in the rest of CF. Let's use this area as a sanctuary from all that. In fact, since posting here, I have not had the slightest desire to go to GT and call the pope the anti-christ! So perhaps there's something to this ecumenical business - as long as those I'm being ecumenical with are conservatives - Traditional, traditional or sola anything!

None of this was your fault really and if my attitude was better it would not have bothered me at all. I have been sort of having to deal with genez and his attacking my Faith rigorously in another thread. I can post something to someone else and it can be something totally benign and he turns it into this whole anti-Catholic rhetoric thing with every post he makes. Between that and another poster I felt inundated, and constantly under attack as being called UnChristian because of my Faith so I was just touchy. Really Touchy!

Please don't go because I had a bad day!

Sometimes they are .... you have to remember we are real people with real feeling that can be hurt and harmed behind these words that you see on the screen. The people that type these words are real human beings.

We should all acknowledge one another as being real individuals not just some words on a screen, and if we did that then most of the time we would get along a whole lot better.

Peoples hearts don't stop at their keyboards.....

The words we type are merely an extension of our hearts and minds and soul in many instances, especially when it comes to something as personal as Faith and God...
