I hate saying this, but I wish I was old.

I'd rather stop existing when I die instead of having to choose only between going to Heaven or Hell. Why isn't that an option?

I think I have a crisis because for more than 10 years I had anxiety on specific topics and not being able to do or have the things I want to do.

I have spiritual struggle and for years I stopped believing God was all good. What good is it when your human mind has no ability to understand some kind of things either? I mean, I know God himself isn't responsible for evil and suffering but he alone was the one who established it all in the first place. I still get some uncomfortable even if I can't necessarily explain it.

I'm exhausted with living. It's probably an existential crisis.

It is a real shame that you have never encountered Christian people who can genuinely show the love of Jesus to you. It is one thing for people to preach at you and quote Scriptures about the need to get to heaven and avoid hell, but it is quite another to experience Christian believers who genuinely love you, are kind to you, without expecting anything of you.

There are some religious groups that will love you only if you join their group, and if you choose not to, they don't want to have anything to do with you. I don't see people like that as genuine Christian believers.

Real Christians are ones who love, support, respect, and support you without expecting you to be any different than who you are right now. Even when we were yet sinners, Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us. He never expected anyone to be holy and righteous before He loved us. The whole reason He came and died on the cross was that He loved us and was willing to take the penalty and God's wrath upon Himself, so that we can go free if we just believe it and put our faith in Him and His love for us.

It is by God's grace and mercy, through faith in Christ, and not of ourselves that we are saved, and not through anything we have done or can do to contribute to it. It is the gift of God to us. All you have to do is to accept the gift of God - Christ as your Saviour. God is not willing that you be lost, but that you be saved. He gave up His only Son so that you, by having faith in Christ, can be saved. That's the true gospel. It is not a matter of changing your life and becoming religious. It is a matter of having the right attitude toward Jesus Christ and what He has done for you in order to give you the invitation to be saved.

All you have to do is say, "Jesus forgive me, a sinner, and remember me when you come again one day'. If you have enough faith in Jesus to say that to Him, then you have plenty of faith to be saved.

Don't let any church person tell you that you have to follow a set of rules in order to be saved. All you have to do is to pray the prayer I have suggested, and the Holy Spirit will do the rest to transform you into the person that Jesus wants you to be, even though it might not be the person some religious church people would like you to be.

Trying to work out God is futile and yes, it will wear you out. Most Christians go through dark periods in their lives. I got to the point of total depression at one time. Like Jeremiah, I cursed the day that I was born. Now I look back, I can see that I was behaving like a spoiled brat who couldn't get his own way. God not require you to understand Him. I tried that and all I got was a migraine.
You do not know God, that is the real problem. You need to come to God and seek His help. His perfect love has been proven in an indisputable way. God loves you enough to send His Son to die in your place. God did not create evil, but He has solved the problem for those who will accept it. Get born again. You will be transformed and you will be able to know God. No, not work Him out. Knowing is far better.

In all honesty, that was a very inspiring reply.

I have spiritual struggle and for years I stopped believing God was all good.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. -Heb 11.6

There is only one way to peace, and that is through faith in the Lord Jesus. It can be hard to believe that God is good, because sin is in the world, bring pain and death. But the Bible is clear that God did not bring sin into the world, it never was His design (Rom 5). And even then, He did not abandon us but commenced His plan to save us by the atoning work of the Lord Jesus.

Jesus paid a very high price to reconcile you back to the Father. Don't let that opportunity slip by. Don't let His pain and effort go to waste. He loves you with an unfailing love and wants you as His son (Read the parables at Luke 15).

I'm sorry if the love of God has been poorly represented by the visible church. It happens all too often. But still, though man fail, God is not a liar and will never fail. His word is clear: God is love, and when we were yet sinners Christ died for the ungodly. Make your peace with Him and you can start a new life - in His strength, not your own - and He will show you things you did not know.

It all starts with a small step of faith.

I said I wish I was old because the very modern era of this world is very messed up. Older people should be lucky that it looked more like a relative paradise when they were growing up. And now they don't have to worry as much about facing the future troubles because they already got to live their life and can die in a few years.

I wish I could be able to live like my parents and grandparents by the time they were growing up and became young adults. I guess there is no opportunity to explore anything of this world in heaven, as they say.
*sigh**

Choose heaven, 'it is a lot better',and if you knew how good God is, you would want to be with him, don't listen to the atheist poison against God, God is very good, not like they said he is, you need to know him and experience something from him first to tell i guess.
