I'm encouraged

No long sermon, prayer request, or praise report. Just a note to say that when the going gets really tough, I do tend to get down a bit at times. The last few days have been very tough, and I have become weak and tired. And though my physical heart may be worn out my spiritual heart is greatly encouraged.

God is on his Throne and I am so glad Jesus loves me. I know there are times when I disapoint Him. I know because there are times when I let myself down more than anyone else ever has.

But God is Faithful and I just want to Praise Him for that and remind everyone else of this fact. Know that when you get down and there is no one to help you up, Jesus is always there.

And it is so good to have friends who really care, even if they are not "close". But just to know they are there and they care is priceless.

Thank You Jesus for Your Sweet Rest!

Yes Jesus is always there! What a great reminder, thanks Gerry.

This made me think that sometimes when we are down and it seems like there's no one around to help us. That there's no one around because Jesus wants us to come to him for the help instead of going to others. Certainly he knows better than anyone how to help us

Thanks again for the encouraging words. And even though you're not requesting it, I'm still keeping you in my prayers.

Amen GMI!!! Amen! Others will ALWAYS let you down. Praise God I have outgrown the NEED for others. Everyone enjoys the support and fellowship of other Christians, but I would rather depend on Jesus.

I am awed by the way God has used events in my life over the last several months to build my dependence on Him and to prepare me for a special job He has had for me for literally years now.

Praise Jesus forever!

By the way GMI. I KNOW very well the awesome power of prayer. Thanks for being an exemplary sister and friend and supporting me with your prayers. May God richly bless you in all your ways!

I sometimes get worn out too. Then i think about Jesus and how much He loves me. He doesn't let me down so i shouldn't either. Then again, i do sometimes fumble but He's been there to pick me up all the time. Thanks for the reminder Gerry!
