I know my illness have effected the way I read/understand the Bible. But I don't want to read it because I know of all the wonderful promises in there, I don't think are for me. & I don't want to get severely depressed again. I miss the days I used to love reading the Bible.

Why are you trying to do the Lord's job of judging yourself. You are NOT the judge of ANYTHING, including yourself.

That's how Adam screwed himself up when he ate "the Apple." All of a sudden he started judging himself. He and Eve ran to get some fig leaves on because they judged themselves as naked, and were ashamed. As soon as they told God they were ashamed, God knew right away they had eaten from the tree of knowledge. Are you eating from the tree of knowledge right now and judging yourself as evil instead of letting The Judge of All the Earth do the judging properly? I think the answer is "yes."

You should write: "I am Caty. And I am God, the judge of all things, including myself. I am not even interested in the Lord's judgment of anything. Because, even though the Lord has saved me, cleansed me, and declared me as righteous as the One who spoke to the storm and said: 'Peace, be still,' it's already too late, because I, Caty, the judge of all things, have already judged myself as evil. And MY judgment is the only judgment that counts. I also will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north (in the place of authority). I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."

that's terrible. I have a codemning consience. I can't help it, it's not like I can stop it in a second. so am I to think of myself as perfect....I don't think so. But any other thing would be judging myself & most things point to me being condemed. its not that easy.

If you thought of yourself as perfect that would also be judging yourself. There is only ONE who has the right to judge good and evil, and that is GOD. ANY judging WE do is automatically evil. That's what Adam did after he ate "the Apple." That's why God told him to stay away from the tree of knowledge for his own good. God knew that, just like all people, incliding you, they would do an absolutely lousy job of judging anything, especially themselves. Pleeease, let God be God.

Were you ever taught, or did you ever have an experience causing you to never trust anyone?
Parents can be responsible for children not ever being able to trust.

Anyway, please answer the following simple, straightforward question for me so we know where we are: Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Yes____ No_____

If you can't answer it at all, that will have to be a "No." If you answer "Yes," that will prove you're saved. VERY simple, N'est pas?

Devils can never say that Jesus is the Son of God. It is impossible for them to say it because they are self-condemned

Yes, but I often worry if I really do deep down in my heart. I mean I believe that Jesus is the only person who can save me. I have a HUGE trust issue, I don't trust people at all. But I see peopl I know, some even my friends, who hate things aboutGo who hate anything about Christians and I question, "why me" Why am I going through this torture, when I want to be saved.

So is the answer yes? No one has any absolute proof that Jesus is the Son of God. The best anyone can offer is an opinion. So is your opinion "Yes?"

And why do you hang out with Satanists? No wonder you're having problems! That's asking for a ton of trouble. Don't you realize they will have a strong influence on you? "Show me your friends and I'll tell you what you are." Ever attended a Black Mass? The bible asks: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

Im not hanging out with them but i do go to school with them and its hard not to hear what they say & stuff. Im mean they are not going to cause me to walk away from God. But Im jsut saying I wouldn't understand if God sent someone to Hell who wanted Him & wanted to be saved, but have messed up & wants to change. with someone who doesnt want Him at all.

There is no "Hell," only a Lake of Truth which will be "Hell" for all those like Satan who hate the truth. "Hell" is just a made-up place used to scare people into giving money to the church. Besides, the only people who will spend eternity screaming in agony in Hell will be all the people I personally don't like.

If you hadn't messed up, you wouldn't need Jesus. But He's already taken all the punishment so you won't ever have to. Do you think He did a good job saving us? Best guess: _______

You sound so sincere and honest. I think that God has rare gems as you to confound the rest of the world. Please hold tight the one that you want to love, our Father in Heaven. I am glad to be surprised with meeting you Caty. Not for your disorder, but for you honest struggle to make it. We all have struggles in different ways. We can't even seem to be able to change our course, but we just try. Some of us don't even know our own terrible flaws. Apostle Paul had a terrible torn in his side (his way of speaking to describe his affliction). Your torn, in that it is a blessing, is still a torn though. Apostle Paul surely didn't want his affliction and prayed to God three times to remove it. Smile and cry Caty, you are blessed, forgiven and loved by God, our Father in Heaven. He is using you to confound the world. When his timing is right, you will overcome your own torn. I pray that we all do, but in the mean time, let us rejoice as Paul did about his torn in the flesh. Actually Caty The unpardonable sin has nothing to do with the atonement ,,Christ died according to the scriptures for all sins ..for the sins of the world there is no sin for which Christ did not die the unpardonable sin is not unpardonable because Christ didnt die for it it is unpardonable because the sinner willfully cuts themself off but ifthe atonement is incompletele then its not atonement . the sinner cuts themself off that is why its unpardonable

The so-called "unpardonable sin" can only be committed by UNBELIEVERS who publicly call Jesus the Devil. If an UNBELIEVER publicly calls Jesus "the Devil" like the Pharisees did, then how hard will it be for them to ever call on Him for salvation? They won't do it! So they will never have forgiveness because they will only have the one they called "the Devil" to save them. And the Devil can never save anyone!

When you recently wrote "Yes" to my question asking: "Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God?," you definitely did confess that Jesus is the Son of God. So now It's forever too late to ever call Jesus "the Devil." And because you confessed that Jesus is the Son of God, you will never have UNFORGIVENESS, neither in this life nor in the one to come.

It's way too late for you to ever be unforgiveable. Because the Lord has already made you His holy child. All your sins are permanently GONE and God has made you a new person inside. And there's nothing you can ever do to change or take away from the completed perfect work the Lord has done in your spirit. Not only that, but you are now and forever a precious member of His own eternal family.

So rejoice in the complete and permanent freedom from sin that God has blessed you with. And walk daily in the mighty power of Jesus' sinless resurrection, the absolute proof that all the sin of all ages laid upon Jesus by the Father at His crucifixion is forever gone, especially for people like yourself who accept it.

Your trust issues are at the bottom of what you think is OCD. I think it's that you have a terrible time even trusting the Lord to keep his promises. If I had to guess, I'd guess that you were raised by one or more alcoholics who are always legendary for making tons of promises to their kids and then never keeping even one of them.

BTW, water baptism will give you the ability to get rid of that "condemning conscience" you mentioned earlier.

this "feeling" I guess came over me this morning that all of this stuff was from my heart & it scared me. I wonder if my prayers about me hating these thougts and stuff are sincere or if I'm sincere about being sincere. I don't know if I'm too "deep" or too "shallow". Too much anxiety and fear can cause that. don't feel bad i too have the same thing you have. Jesus loves us but like someone told me you hve to stay strong too. i usually tell it to shutup.

its really scary but i fight it and ask God to forgive and help me because i really dont want God to hate me.

I cant remember if I was anxious or not. I'm not strong anymore. I'm about to jsut give up and whenever I die, find out what happens. Because too many things are being thrown at me and I know it's all my fault because I've made it to where He can't forgive me. I've "cut myself off" from that. I think I'm out of His grace.
