Definitely check out the areas that Angeldove97 gave you. I came to CF for a short while to deal with the pain of a loved one that went to heaven, then I left for a long time. So I might have been on the site for two months. When I came back, I hadn't re-read the rules so I either forgot (I wasn't much in my right mind when I joined) or hadn't introduced myself to get this information. So I posted in a Singles post (which is not allowed because I'm married). So I was contacted by a Moderator (they're the police) for a First Staff Contact.

It made me very upset, and I even cried. Of course, I'm not really over the three deaths in my family in an 11 month period of time. So things still get me very upset, and I'm trying to stay on an even keel which sometimes is very hard. I asked more than once to have it taken off especially because I am still having a lot of suffering. But they hold firm with their decision. It "Never" expires.

So be sure you read the rules to keep yourself out of trouble. And if you don't understand things, you can go to the main heading above (Christian Forums) and you can post to the Angels. They get back fairly quickly to answer questions--usually within 48 hours.

Have fun, but be very careful that you don't break the rules about where to post.

Make sure you don't post things you aren't allowed to such as promoting homosexuality and things against the Christian faith (and I believe I read something that you can't post about binding and loosing from Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18). Be sure you read all those things to keep out of trouble. I feel sure I still don't know the rules; but you are expected to obey them.

It's always nice to see a new member. It is fun to see other people's viewpoints. You can post to learn or post to teach. It is a place that a person can learn a lot and then offer back to others.

The fact that we have a forum like this to come to in order to learn and teach is really wonderful!

Hi, Darren. I'm new, too. =) I know what you mean about yesterday being a totally different day. I am new(ish) to my city and finally meeting people to ground me to the area and am so happy with the way my life is beginning to turn around there. I was just so stationary for a long time and this Christmas is nothing like I would have expected it would be. So glad for that.
