That's pretty cool... I did a fiber optic job about 14 years ago just east of there, and lived out of the Fiesta motel for about 2 1/2 months.

Yeah, It wasn't quite as bad back then as it is now(but then again I was drinking back then). We had seven of us staying there & they gave us a really good deal.

No doubt I've passed through there. My sister used to live in Oregon, IL, which is about 20 min. south of Rockford; I used to spend my vacations with her, and we'd often head up to Wisconsin (often off the beaten path).

i live in libertyville which is about an hour north of chicago and about 20 minutes south of the wisconsin border....im probably one of the farthest north in illinois on here!
