I downloaded The Sims 2 - I didnt want to spend £35-£40 on it.
It was good though, game me the oppertunity to play the game in all of it's glory, just not save it. I think this is a great way to have a demo, although crackers and patchers will find a way, but i worked out since it was the no-CD i was using.

I dont know though, what God thinks of it. It is easier to download sometimes, and yes, what about those hard to find games and music that nowhere seems to sell - not even Amazon! :/ Hmm - interesting though, that most Christians do, many people I know will be VERY suprised. They always think Christians are like this and that, but in actual fact, they are the other :p

i only really download TV shows that you cant get on DVD that i really like - like scrubs - so i can make DVDs of them. if they were released on DVD i would buy them.

if i want just one song from something ill try and use iTunes because the 79p saves the hassle of trying to avoid fakes and its legal. if not ill buy a CD myself or find someone with the album to borrow it (still a bit sketchy but i dont really feel bad about that)

Yes, but the fact is, we dont.
I was just getting at the people who do not believe saying things like "oh, and he's supposed to be Christian" <-- they all are laughing because they dont think I am, yet, i bet if you asked them what they think being a Christian is, then they wouldnt say the truth.

I will in fact ask that on another large forum tonight, post the answers here!

I have 1500 songs on my PC. I have either downloaded them from KazaaLite or Imesh, or I have gotten a CD from the library, ripped the music to my PC, then burned it. I ususally use MP3 CD's so I fit ~ 165 songs per CD. Reduces costs of CD-R's, because I am cheap. This is my way of getting back at record companies for gouging people on the prices of CD's for too long.

if im interested in a bands latest album i will download it first to see if its worth buying, if i like it enough i will buy it, if not DELETE! no use in keeping stuff i dont like.
i also like to get live versions of songs which dont come on cd's, because alot of the times they are better then the cd versions.

I download Mp3s and i downlaod programs and movies
i use ares audio galaxy its not ful of junk like kazaa and its faster

Also I dont care if its illegal p2p or illegal downloading wouldnt go on if the cds, dvds, programs where not so over priced. 10pounds for a small piece of plastic is a rip off or 100 gbp for program is a rippoff

theres nothing wrong with downloading unless you sell what you download then its wrong.I download but i never sell what i download. Its for personal use only.

This is what I do, I download tons of music. But once I hear the bands, the ones that are good I buy, then copy to my computer at a huge bitrate so I can just listen to it on my computer without a CD. (And just listen to the aCtual CD in my car) I used to just download everything, but I have a job now, and I am able to buy CDs. Plus the type of music I mainly listen to is metal, and Christian Metal is not to big and barely even embraced, so I try to help them out as much as possible. So if you feel like downloading a CD that is not very good quality, download it. Me? I don't care what you do, but I feel you should still buy a little at the very least!
