watt is some of yer favorite cd's in music?

I have very eclectic taste in music:

Broadway musicals - Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, West Side Story, South Pacific (there's a special recording done several years ago with Julie Andrews & Ben Kingsley - it's wonderful), Brigadoon, My Fair Lady

jazz - David Sanborn:thumbsup:   , Al Jarreau, Stanley Jordan, Manhattan Transfer

traditional (for lack of a better word) - Harry Connick Jr., Michael Feinstein

country - Sarah Evans, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson

Pop/Rock - John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, U2

but mostly I listen to broadcasts of the White Horse Inn on cds

how long dew you take a shower?

a shower - usually no more than 5-10 minutes (depends on if I have to wash my hair or not).

But a bubble bath - now that's a totally different animal. Candles, a book and a glass of wine - I could relax in a tub for an hour (is that just way to much information??? )

dew you like lemonade?

I do - drink it a lot in the summertime. Limeade too.

How come I can't find an "ask MrFreshdew" thread?

ask her n yer mom :)

ever wonder why when we talk about food our tummy rumbles even after we ate?

It was my dad's mom and she's been dead for 21 years. Her recipes were along the line of - a teacup of sugar, a lump of butter, add milk to make it the consistency of cake batter. Most of her offspring can't duplicate her recipes - we can come close, but not exact.

In answer to your question - peristalsis.

have you ever been misunderstood by your questions that you ask?

All the time - my statements get misunderstood too sometimes. Especially in places like this - no vocal inflection and rare chances for immediate interchange. Sometimes I make a post, several hours later someone responds and it may be several hours more before I see that response - only to find out that I was totally misunderstood and the thread has progressed based on the misunderstanding. :sigh:

how long have you had yer computer?

My son is 25, we've had a computer since he started high school. We have upgraded, I've had this particular computer 4 years. My daughter just got a laptop - I could get real used to that.

What would be your ideal Christmas?

All of my family together (for more than 3-4 hours)

Christmas Eve midnight service with the entire family
Staying up late, catching up with each other's lives
Having the grandkids wake everyone up bright and early to open presents
Brunch
Watching White Christmas together (and my sisters and I singing along to "Sisters, Sisters")
Christmas dinner with lots of conversation and laughter
Lots of snow:thumbsup:

dew you think that your online friends are real?

Real as in flesh and blood - yes. However not in the sense that I have deep relationships with them. Places like this give an air of familiarity - and I do refer to folks here as my friends - but we really know very little about each other. Aside from our love for our Lord and Savior we might have very little in common and if we actually met face to face we might find that we don't like each other (hard to believe I know). I'm sure that upon meeting me many would find a personality trait (or 20) that they have trouble tolerating. That's not to say that I don't enjoy my fellowship here - I love it and really enjoy the people, I just recognize that it isn't the same as being face to face with people on a regular basis.

I loved this particular question - and hope my answer isn't too rambling.
