CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I registered the youngest mancub officially for the voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program at our neighborhood school this morning. He will be attending the same elementary school as the oldest mancub when they go back to school in the Fall. He is uber excited about it and feels like he has finally achieved "big boy" status like his brother. I, on the other hand, am feeling rather bittersweet about it.

I know the first days of things like that (daycare, preschool, kindergarten) are always bittersweet. We're so proud, yet it impresses on us the unstoppable beat of time.

IJWTS: I might have to unsubscribe from a couple of threads. I keep seeing messages from people i know, i don't know if they're directed at me or not. But sometimes i think they are and it makes me sad.

IJWTS exactly! Ugh. I wasn't this bad with the older mancub b/c I still had a "baby" with the younger one. But, now the younger one is my last (for now, anyway) doing all these firsts and I might not get another chance at these firsts and it's got me all twisted up. Good thing I'm not PMSing right now, too, or I would be a HUGE mess.
