  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being
turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of
man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the
paps with a golden girdle.
1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and
his eyes were as a flame of fire;
1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and
his voice as the sound of many waters.
1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went
a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun
shineth in his strength.
1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right
hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

IJWTS I talked to the mancubs this morning. They both sound unhappy, the oldest told me they both miss me and the youngest asked again if he can come home now. :cry: I absolutely HATE this time of year. :sigh:

IJWTS be brave FNG...as soon as they're old enough to protest the visits, maybe you can eliminate that...bleh. I can't imagine how that must break your heart. It must be hard not to become enraged at the ex for that. I don't suppose it would do any good to tell him the boys want to come home???

IJWTS I'm holding up OK. I just hate that I can't make things better for them. If I said anything to the ex, he would just get mad and yell at me - then the boys would get ridiculously long lectures about why they should want to spend time with him, too (he used to put my stepson through the same crap). Jeremy said it best earlier on the phone - we'll just enjoy the time we have with the boys this weekend and make sure they know how much they're loved. And yes - when they reach the age of consent, I will support their decision if they choose not to go.

Bless their hearts. I know how it is. I hated going to see my dad as well and it was only once a week. I could imagine what they feel. :hug::hug::hug:It'll all be over soon. Hang in there girl! Tell them that too.:hug:

IJWTS I know I should be grateful that the boys have their dad in their life...and I would be if he was worthy of being in their lives. But, he's NOT a good person and he uses the boys to try and manipulate me. I don't know which I pray harder for - him to change or the boys to survive their visits (emotionally-speaking).

I understand :hug: Some people don't understand when I say I'm thankful beyond words that my ex just walked off and left me and Josh. But like yours, he was not a good person, and I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant that I did not want this man having any influence over my child. I was glad he didn't show up for the custody hearing. I was glad he never tried (in earnest) to see Josh, and still hasn't to this day. What would Josh learn from this guy? How to cuss, smoke, drink, not have a job, and impregnate half a dozen girls? NO way. So, whether he's been absent purely on his own or because God has kept him away, I'm GLAD. I can handle the struggle of being a poor, penniless, loving, happy family. I couldn't handle my baby being handed over to that jerk.

Sorry, that was kind of a rant lol.
