CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I wish my mother would understand that my brain is not working right now and talking to me about complicated things is pretty much pointless when I first wake up... but if she hasn't figured it out after knowing me my whole life I guess she never will.

I've got a small group of guys interested in going to Utila next year. It's a small island off the coast of Honduras. It's in the midst of the second largest reef in the world.
If that falls through, i might jump into a group of local divers plotting a trip to Bonaire later this fall. It's kind of expensive though.

IJWTS I think I'm turning into one of those obnoxious wedding-obsessed women who doesn't talk about anything else.
Except, I'm not talking about it with anyone IRL yet (need to call my mom and my sis) so I feel like I'm going to implode. Oy.
I do not consider your excitement obnoxious.
Should you decide to create a thread regarding your upcoming nuptials, I would definitely visit it.
