CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm kinda weird--my exam isn't until Thursday, so I just had regular class today.
Interview went really well...except, the hours are NOT what I thought they were...I wonder if my main office knows that---but!! it looks good. I have a "trial orientation thing" (no, that's what they called it) tomorrow night, I think--but I still have to call the main office in the morning while I'm at my day job to run by them how it went and all that happened. Ohhh boy. Crazy stuff.

Well I've been thinking. I was in the passenger seat so they probably didn't get a good look at me. And I could shave...although the idea of a pirate showing up demanding fish tacos would make for a great story...hmmmm...Go back AS Long John Silver

On Talk Like a Pirate Day last year (September 19) I saw someone at school that walked around ALL DAY in a pirate costume and carried a full-sized skull and crossbones flag with him. 
I was quite intrigued by that.

I had Taco Time for lunch, yumm, but they don't have them there.
We only have one of those in the area, and I haven't had it yet.

IJWTS-I'm debating (with myself) if I should post a pic of myself here on CF or not. The problem is that the picture is poor quality because it's a self-portrait with a throwaway camera. I did post it on facebook, though.
