CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS thanks so much for the prayers for Josh! He slept well and his rash is no worse this morning, and hopefully on its way to being better 
His blister is definitely better; the gauze I put on it was full of puss 
but that's a good thing, cause it looks so much better than it did lastnight, and I know all that infection was coming out. I honestly haven't seen anything give off so much puss in my life...whew...the things you learn to deal with as a mom lol. If it were anyone but my son I'd probably have yacked a few times. I was all shuddery when I put ointment on his rash lol. He's like "is it gross?" and I say "Yeah, it's nasty, but I love you, and this what you do when you love someone, you just suck it up and do it!".
So it looks like we're good to go for our trip to Dutch Wonderland today

They are not fun. Yesterday's wasn't as bad as the day before. The day before was the coworker that was killed supposedly in a 'freak accident' in her weight room but there's a lot of suspicion that the husband did something to her (and a criminal investigation as well). The body in the casket looked NOTHING like this woman. She looked horrible (not that dead bodies ever look 'good' ). This woman always had a big, beautiful, bright smile. Always seemed to be 'sunshine'. I met the husband for the first time. He seemed a little odd. A couple of coworkers commented to me yesterday that the husband 'creeped them out' with his behaviour. Her son (who is not his) was standing next to him. The son is the SWEETEST kid!!! I gave him a big hug and then I had to walk out because I started tearing up.
Yesterday wasn't as 'bad' because I hadn't seen the decedent in about 10 years or more. I felt bad for my friend because it was his mother and he never knew his dad. He had lost his brother about 7 years ago in an auto accident so now it's just him and his sister.

i woke up with a stiff neck from apparently sleeping really well last night. lol I'm all better now though.

IJWTS that if you're able to hold your nose, close your eyes, and stay under water for a bit without any anxiety or panic, then you're ready to go.
