CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS: I've had at least 3 ppl comment how dark I am this summer. lol I haven't been this tan since I spent Spring break in Florida in 1990!
I guess that's a perk of being *slightly employed* (can't really say 'unemployed' even though technically I am but I do still work part time at what used to be my 'second job')

I am amazed by people who expect you to trust them when they have done zero (or sometimes less) to you, that would make you think you could EVER trust them. I mean ever, for eternity.

I wish I'd kept up with Heroes. I missed one episode about over a year ago (?) or so and I never got back into the swing. I felt like if you missed one episode, you missed them all. Maybe that's not the show's saying, but it really, really should be.
