IJWTS I wish the people at the park had told us the concert was canceled BEFORE we waited around for 4 hours, an hour of that huddled up under canopy waiting out the rain....

IAJWTS I am going to try and stay up light tonight so I can sleep in late tomorrow.... off to Vegas tomorrow evening and get in around 11pm there. I want to be awake and ready to rock!!

IJWTS that I just heard of a guy named Nick Vujicic (youtube him!). He was born with no arms or legs...and he's an inspiration for many!

IJWTS I am leaving today for my Vegas trip. We don't get in until 11pm, which sucks, but it was only $280 per person for round trip airfair and 4 nights hotel this way. I think I got my buddy talked into riding the crazy rides about 1000 feet above the ground on top of the stratosphere! I am going to take extra underwear up there with me, as I am sure there is a good chance of soiling myself.

He spoke for one of our company's functions - I never saw him but I dealt with a flurry of phone calls the next day from people who wanted to know more about him.

IJWTS-I'm glad that I clicked on the "new posts" link this past couple of days (due to the dead atmosphere of Singles) because I came across a couple of threads about bible translations. I now have a link to an ESV bible (with devotions) and am much more familiar with the various translations. I like my NIV (and now really want the Archeology NIV Bible) bibles, but I've always been curious about other translations.

IJWTS - I'm about to make some food and then play Oblivion.

IJWTS I had a dream--I was working on all the lightbulbs, light switches, and electrical outlets in the bathrooms in the "pink lady's house" and at the mall. There was water rushing everywhere all over the floor, which I told someone in my dream was "very relaxing". While changing outlets, I found bags and bags of potato chips hidden in the walls and only I was allowed to take them. What a crazy(&good) nap I had!

Lol what!? No.. I actually have some pretty long legs. I'm a little on the tall side o' things.
