IJWTS-I was referring to the "quiet mouse, nibbling on a cupcake" comment. I'll admit it hurt my feelings a little, I felt horribly boring reading that. And Inkabink responded that I did seem "controlled". I'm not mad, or even hurt anymore, but it made me realize how I was coming across on this forum. As a result, I've decided to hold back less and worry less about being PC and diplomatic. One of the reasons I respect you, dB, and like your posts is that frequently you don't hold back.

I've seen that people don't always respond well to honesty presented in a non-PC/diplomatic way--just look at the situation with Inkabink yesterday--but I have no problem using the ignore list feature, report button, or just rolling my eyes and mentally dismissing people who are rude.

Even if we weren't friends, I'd still applaud you for this post I have great admiration for your intelligence and diplomacy. I know you can be more open and candid and still maintain those things. And I look forward to reading what you have to say.

IJWTS I'm a pro at posting after myself. Especially in this thread.

IAWTS I'm considering taking tomorrow off because I didn't really enjoy my weekend since I stayed at home all weekend (didn't leave once) working on my written and oral presentations.

Well the breathing stuff in part is probably blown waay out of proportion in my head .... I have anxiety issues so of course I can't just be happy with "oh yay I killed the bug"... I have to be like "hmm I bet this stuff is bad for you... and now it is floating around in the air... oh noes!!!"

IJWTS - I spent the weekend at a soccer tourny. I got a little too much sun on my face, DOH! But it rained today, so it wasn't so bad, but it was hard playing soccer tonight. But had a fun time too.

I probably misses something good though.

IAJWTS I got my passport this weekend. I'm hoping to take a cruise in the Fall.

FWIW, FLN, cruising with Carnival was a HUGE hassle and disappointment. Slightly cheaper than other lines, but the service was pretty much awful. I don't know if you've ever cruised or not or what you know or don't know, but I just got back from a 5-day Carnival cruise and my entire family was less than pleased with the ship, staff, crew and service in general. When I was a child, I went on a Disney cruise when the liners first started sailing. Now THAT was fun... plenty of things to do for the kids, but also a lot of adult-type things too. The private island was lovely.

Just FWIW and FYI. Where are you planning to go?

Not sure yet. My boyfriend pointed out a marriage cruise on my church's bulletin yesterday - that is scheduled for September.

I don't think we'll be going on that one.

My boyfriend has been on a few cruises so he's kind of the expert. We are probably going to hit the islands - not sure yet which ones or which cruise line. Now that I have my passport, we're going to start looking more seriously into it.

I would love to do a Disney cruise with the mancubs someday, but they're pretty pricey so they're not an option right now.

You're right, but that doesn't mean that ex's can't be right for someone else.

I shouldn't be nervous, but I am. I really am. :-\ I miss you so much, somehow. Waiting to hear from you is like watching the cathedral ceiling be repainted using pointillism at the rate of one dot every twenty minutes. It is PAINFUL! But I know, my worrying is likely without merit. That never stopped the best of them, though, so it probably won't stop me.
