What's goin' on, Ink? I hope you don't leave. You're awesome! Somebody irk you today? I'll have to smack 'em around!

Just a few guys who seem to feel free to slam me and make rude, snarky comments out of the blue. I don't recall being rude and snarky to any particular person, but it seems to be the theme of the day for me. Since the guys here don't pay a lick of attention to me the rest of the time, it's funny how they suddenly go up in arms over things they accuse me of doing and saying that I didn't even do or say. Suddenly, they just CARE so much, but any other time they couldn't care less about me lol.

Don't ask me what or who; they know who they are and what happened. It hurt...very much so. But I'll get over it and life will continue.

NOOOO not the nice theater, if that had happened i would be crying real tears and tearing my clothes. It was another theater here- historical and lots of Ga. or Southern bands got their start or built an audience there: B-52's, Hootie and the blowfish, Dave Matthews, REM. It was just a cool place; that is no more. *sniff*

The gators are coming out of the swamp!!!!! LOL I was listening to the news for once and they had a whole segment on if you live around the Chattahoochie swamp or rivers, keep your animals inside. I was very frightened.... for the animals, because i don't live anywhere near that.

IJWTS-Man I've got an early morning. My sister and mom wants me to go to church with them. We stayed up and watched The Dark Knight, my sister, mom and my sister's friend never seen it and I really wonder if we'll make it. Not to mention, the past 2 days, my mind has been paranoid about worrying about one of my lifelong best friends who made a bad mistake that may lead to a divorce, and just hoping he calls me back to talk like he said he would do because in a way, he's like me...something stressful comes that we have never dealt with before, seclude ourselves because we're confused, in pain and just need time "to ourselves" which is idiotic because how can a person who is in pain, hurting fix a problem in that state? Keeping my fingers crossed that here soon, maybe I'll catch him on a messenger, or I'll be waken up by a call. Cheers!

IJWTS-If you notice me not being as PC and nice as I used to be, it has nothing to do with PMS or whatever. As a result of something dB has said and my being frustrated with the direction the Singles forum has been going in the past few months, I've decided not to hold back and be super nice anymore. It's not that I've been fake, but maybe I have been too "controlled" and diplomatic. I'm not going to completely change, I am still a middle child (who are typically peace keepers) and also do realize that misunderstandings over the internet--with no tone of voice or body language--are quite easy.

IJWTS breakfast this morning was pancakes. Now I have to make a squash casserole for Father's Day lunch at my grandparents' house.

IAJWTS that my parents and my boyfriend's parents came over for dinner last night (met for the first time) and it went VERY well!

IJWTS I actually wasn't nervous. Our parents have similar personalities, so I figured they would get along well and they did. It was just more proof that we are meant to be together.

IAWTS I have not left my apartment this weekend because I was working on a written and oral presentation for my job interview this wednesday. But I just finished it! YESSSSSSSSS!!!

And IAWTS I just found out my grandmother is in the hospital for congestive heart failure this saddens me. I don't want to fly back home under these circumstances

IJWTS-I was referring to the "quiet mouse, nibbling on a cupcake" comment. I'll admit it hurt my feelings a little, I felt horribly boring reading that. And Inkabink responded that I did seem "controlled". I'm not mad, or even hurt anymore, but it made me realize how I was coming across on this forum. As a result, I've decided to hold back less and worry less about being PC and diplomatic. One of the reasons I respect you, dB, and like your posts is that frequently you don't hold back.

I've seen that people don't always respond well to honesty presented in a non-PC/diplomatic way--just look at the situation with Inkabink yesterday--but I have no problem using the ignore list feature, report button, or just rolling my eyes and mentally dismissing people who are rude.

IJWTS I'm 27...not some high school airhead who likes to "date for fun". If you want to date with no sense of permanency, then perhaps one of your other friends is more your style, seeing how they seem to carry the same values (or the lack of) as you. I guess that even at your age, you haven't realized that relationships sometimes call for sacrifice. Not, "What do I get out of it" and "*whine* I don't knooooow what I want *whimperwhimper*".
