IJWTS yes, it's just plain wrong. And I can't believe the stupid Brazilian family member's saying that "Oh, he didn't pay child support!"

Morons. I don't know why that step-father is so eager to raise another man's kid anyway. Probably just carrying on the jerk tradition for his deeased wife because he knows she wouldn't have wanted the biological father to have the child.

I hate it when people use a child as a weapon.

Been there plenty of times. Sometimes it helps if I ask God to "scrub out my thoughts"...get the dirty, dark stuff out of there. He can do it. Ask Him!

IJWTS that this horrific senseless murder of a poor guard here in D.C. is why I will always believe in hate crime legislation. The man did nothing wrong but come to work that morning and have the wrong color of skin. He even opened the door for the shooter... who proceeded to shoot him down. Now an 11 year old buy is without a father and a wife is widowed. It makes me so sick and sad at the same time.

IJWTS that I love short stories I can read 2 or 3 during my lunch hour and feel accomplished. Not like reading an 800 pg epic tale that takes forever to finish since I mostly only read during my lunch hour.

More authors need to write short stories!

IJWTS I'm sad One of my good friends is going to Iraq.. for the 5th time. He just got back from his 4th tour in March, now he's going again in September. I feel so bad for his wife and 3 kids.
