IJWTS that I was looking for artwork to decorate my apartment with so I was looking at some stuff at Ikea. I told somebody this (you know who you are ) and she said "SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTISTS!"

So being the nice guy that I am, I consider paying a little more to get a nice piece of art created by a local artist. And what is the first thing I click on when I go to a website devoted for DC artists? Some crazy chick who takes pictures of naked women! Seriously, there is way too much nudity in art! I am not going to put a pic of a woman's hooha on my wall!

You can go local without going nude, db!! Although I'm not really anti-nudity in art, so...

I wish you luck in finding something though... I do recommend you peruse the art scene in your town, as well. Go to smaller galleries, showings and art crawls (maybe even some starving artists') to peep what's going on. I can't wait to go to the ones around here!!!!

IJWS: It is very encouraging to see such young ones who exhibit the inner fire for Jesus Christ that is reminiscent of what I had experienced when I first became a believer. It is a nice reminder and it is a joy to see such passion mixed with theological and intellectual soundness.

I second white dove. There's a middle schooler who goes to the same bible study as I and she is an example for everyone. Especially the newbie of the group (me!).

IJWTS - I am proud of myself even if no one else is. I taught my friend Bridget how to make 5 different dishes last night, and I didnt burn down my house, cut any fingers or hurt anyone else. She can now make a really good pasta dish, porkchops, a stirfry, lasagna, and a killer salad

IJWTS that this case of a Brazilian stepfather holding on to another man's child is making me furious.

I would not be upset if the biological father flew down there, cut the jerk step dad down, and flew back to the U.S. with his son.
