IJWTS I had an insane dream last night. I dreamt that we were at war with an unknown country sometime in the near future and that I was in it... we were outside a hangar and the opposing army was marching on us and there was a lot of casualties. There was this big corn fed kid lying on a stretcher who had been shot in the thigh and he was crying because he didn't want to die... and I remember thinking in my dream, "He shouldn't be so upset because he's going to make it..." and then we heard an air raid warning siren and so we had to run for cover and I remember I had to drag a bunch of idiots to shelter and yell at them because they were little punk butt 18 and 19 year olds who think they are invincible and wanted to charge at the enemy.

And I remember thinking distinctly in my dream, "This is why we want young boys in the military... because they don't think they will die. I remember when I was that way.." And before I woke up, the last thing I thought in my dream was that I need to protect these boys like they are my children since they're so reckless and eager to pursue heroics, that they can't take care of themselves.

Crazy dream.

IJWTS - I am ahuman bruise today....

IJWTS the youngest mancub barfed - twice - in my car this morning. I am working from home b/c he couldn't go to summer camp...which means he missed his first ever field trip - he was going to ride a big yellow school bus to the park and have pizza and play on the playground.

IJWTS - for some reason FNG, I saw "barfed" as "bar-fed"...like fed from a bar. My brain is weird.

Poor little baby boy! I hope he's not too sad. Maybe you can promise him something fun when he feels better.

IJWTS he's been on the couch with a Scooby-Doo video marathon since we got back home. lol He'll forget all about it on Friday when I give him his dollar for the ice cream truck that comes to camp.

IJWTS - I have been taking inventory on my bruises from yesterday...

My left inner thigh and pelvic bone, the back of my right thigh, my whole lower back, my right calf the left side of my forehead, I have one on my right wrist... and my right shoulder blade.
