  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know someone who'd gone on there to find dates and whatnot... but b/c this person has a considerably different lifestyle than mine, I was afraid to even entertain going to the site.

IJWTS you should be happy you can't play soccer... stupid communist sport....

IAJWTS we only have 2 days of school left! I was able to get my final exams finished up today and all my notes finished up, so I am ready for Thursday. I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon, and I really hope it goes well. It will provide me with the much needed income and health insurance while going back to school to pursue my nursing degree.

IJWTS, Trolli, i have friends trying to talk me into that, but I just can't make myself do it. It seems so weird and impersonal to me.... But, hey, maybe it would work great for us fat kids. The womens can get to know us before they see us!!!!

IJWTS I don't really have a problem with girls soccer... I mean, it is a woman's sport and the legs...whooooooo

But I have a problem watching a sport where one of the objects is for the dude to flop on the ground and fake an injury to draw a penalty.
