CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh yeah. I dislike it very much. It's very monotonous. I'd rather be writing something, but it's an important part of the process.

Over my lifetime? Maybe fifteen or so. I had one published by a publisher a few years ago, but they didn't edit it and tried to screw me over on the contract, so that's the novel I'm editing right now and re-publishing. I have two short stories out. Part of a series. But when I first published the first short story, I messed up and published an unedited version, so I had to go back and change up a few things haha.
The average novel length is 50,000 words, but the novel I'm writing is over 100,000, so it's very long. It's taken me a month just to get through 60 pages.

Fifteen books written! Very cool.
It's always impressive to me when someone publishes a book.
And wow… It takes 60 pages a month to edit a book… You must be a very patient person... It must be an awesome feeling when you're done editing and it's ready to publish.

So I forgot to ask...what kind of books do you like to read? My stuff is a little scary so I wouldn't want to have you read it if you're not into that They're more crime mystery/thrillers but have some scary content.
