IJWTS- With the invention of cell phones and texting, making actual phone calls this morning has made me break into a nervous sweat. LOL. How sad is that?!

IJWTS- Being an adult sometimes makes me sad. Why do some people think being an adult means you have to lose all of the wonder and curiosity? There is a time and place to be very serious but every second of the day, is a little much. I say....be responsible and all of that but don't let your age dictate how much fun you have. Enjoy the life God has given you and be thankful, learn to play and laugh (if you've forgotten how).

Now, if you'll excuse me....I'll be in my blanket fort, coloring, while I watch a movie.

IJWTS - this is one of my favorite TEDtalks. I know that people don't like watching videos on here but this TEDtalk had me reflecting on technology all week. She even talks about online communities like this

"Start thinking of solitude as a good thing. Make room for it. Find ways to demonstrate this as a value to your children. Create sacred spaces at home -- the kitchen, the dining room -- and reclaim them for conversation. Do the same thing at work. At work, we're so busy communicating that we often don't have time to think, we don't have time to talk, about the things that really matter. Change that. Most important, we all really need to listen to each other, including to the boring bits. Because it's when we stumble or hesitate or lose our words that we reveal ourselves to each other."

^^^ Agree with the both of you. Lol I hateeeee making phone calls. The funny thing is I'm alright with skype. . Like I can talk on skype with no problem. But calling someone on the phone? Yikes. *Fans self* I get all nervous and everything!

Your post made me smile. One of my close friends says this all the time about how she'll be in her blanket fort, coloring and watching a movie.

I totally agree with you. Be responsible but have fun!! I love wonder and curiosity and I don't think your age should take that away from you.

This already happened imo. It's talking about Mary giving birth to Christ in those verses in Revelations, read the next verses after it for context.
