CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

^GT is tame now compared to singles. Sure there's a few rusty old guys who enjoy the debate but it's not like we're watching those boring replays of the reformation with all of its bloody murder any more.

IJWTS I am having a good day. People are coming over and finalizing the refinance of the house. We got a new roof and getting an AC soon out of this. And I think the rate is as low as it possibly can be.. like 2%?

Yea, I realize that's against the rules here, but what concerns me moreso is that judgment is without mercy to those who have shown no mercy (james 2:13), and if a community gets sucked into a pattern of judging without mercy, how do you suppose that might affect one's spiritual well-being? Would it produce peace or more strife and contention? You be the judge.
I realize I have not gotten along with everyone here, but as I've said previously, to the best of my memory I have not reported any of you for any rule violations, and even if we may not like each other all that much, I have no intent of getting you or Paulie or anyone else booted out, though that doesn't mean I won't speak up about something that I think is wrong, and I'd expect the same from people here. The real problem, as I see it, is an excessive abuse of the rules (particularly the rule against [censored] since it's so conveniently ambiguous) to bring down administrative actions for reasons that the rules were not meant for. And I hope that's not what you're trying to do (not saying you are) but if you are, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm pretty sure someone can find some rule I've broken...

I bought a cheap ac for the living room. It was only 550 dollars. I could buy one for every room but Dad said hes going to buy one of those 7000 dollar ACs so I am excited. lol
