IJWTS-
It's good to be back, though I do believe I will be a morning/night poster only.
IAWTS-
To sum up the events of this week:
"They say a shave and a haircut is worth two bits
But that ain't the way I remember it"
People can be friends. Or they can be backstabbing enemies. Otherwise they will fall somewhere between those lines. People who you once thought were friends may turn out to be the most two-faced of strangers. People you once thought were enemies can be the most invaluable teachers you meet, maybe for one reason or some other. But in the end, we all have something to share and something to teach.
Here are my two bits, after this grueling hell-tour I have experienced:
we have our dark demons. We all do. We all regret something, and we are all ashamed of something. But, instead of turning away from that dark past we have, embrace it, internally embrace it. It make take a day, it may take a month, but if you embrace it and learn what went wrong or why you did what you did, you will not only understand yourself a little bit more, but you also learn more about the facts of human nature. You can use the demons you have and turn them into your angels, and the experiences you have obtained can be equipped to help you maintain the equilibrium it takes to make life not only enjoyable for yourself, but also for others. Learn. Grow. Respond positively. And never forget, never hide, never run. Because when we fear our past, we fear the ability to move forward, unto new frontiers.
Right now I am facing my largest demons, and I learned today that I can take those nightmares in the corners of my mind, and let them overwhelm me, or I can understand them, and finally walk free; free from any shackles that hold me back.
"Every mistake you make, will make you great"
